Accessibility Statement

LAW OFFICE OF STEPHEN SPURGEON, LLC is committed to making this Website usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we do

• Semantic headings, landmarks, and labeled form controls.
• Keyboard access to interactive elements, including the menu, forms, and the intake assistant.
• Text colors chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
• Reduced-motion support: background animation is disabled when your device requests it.
• Text alternatives for images and icons.

Testing

On October 13, 2026, automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) of the home, About, contact, personal injury, privacy, deadline calculator, and news pages found no violations. Automated tools catch only some issues, so we also welcome reports from visitors.

Known limitations

The two television commercials on the home page do not yet have captions or transcripts. We are adding them. In the meantime, call the office and we will describe their content.
